Kings College School Maths Partnership Y5/6

Every Friday afternoon in the Spring Term, a group of our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils will visit King’s College School to work with their Year 12 and Year 13 ‘Maths Ambassadors.’ These are sixth form students chosen for their passion for the subject and their ability to mentor younger pupils.

The sessions will focus on high-level mathematical problem-solving and questions designed to stretch their thinking beyond the standard curriculum.

• When: Every Friday afternoon in the Spring Term 

• Travel: The children will be transported by a bus provided by King’s 

• Timing: Sessions are 45 minutes long, from 2-2:45pm. They have been timed to ensure the children return to school by 3:15 pm
