Vision Statement

VISION 2020

Garfield Primary aims to be a school that is rated Outstanding.

With its inspirational learning environment, high quality teaching and first class links to the local community, Garfield will offer an excellent educational experience in a safe, friendly place.

Pupils, parents, staff and governors are proud of our school and we will share high expectations of ourselves and others.

Every pupil will leave Garfield School having been given the opportunity to perform well academically, demonstrate sporting prowess, display artistic endeavour, develop emotional maturity and gain the self-confidence required to travel happily on to the next stage in their journey through education.

Core Values

Our assemblies are linked to seven Core Values. These are based on the Olympic and Paralympic Values. Our seven Core Values permeate throughout everything that we do at Garfield and form the ethos of what our school stands for:

Respect

Equality

Determination

Inspiration

Friendship

Excellence

Courage
